That child is NOT legally named Blanket. His name is Prince Michael Jackson. Blanket is only a nickname, and is useful to protect his identity.

i think the name "Blanket" is really sweet.. it's unique and sweet..

We have an artist here in the Philippines, he's named "Bamboo".

and it's a sweet name for a boy, as to embody the characteristic of a bamboo flexible, pliant and humble..

and people here in the Philippines does not find that weird,

some children are named, bamboo, river, rain, even dracla! mind you.. but without the letter U, Dracla.. not Dracula..

people should understand that MJ is influenced by many races.. so you should not find it weird..because in Chinese and in Filipino they named kids that way..

in Chinese they name kids like, Ting Ting, Ping Pong, whatever.. King King..

and believe it or not, i knew a celebrity who named her son as "Jacko"

Jacko's youngest child "Blanket" is legally named Prince Michael Jackson II. His older siblings are brother Prince Michael Jackson I, and sister Paris.

Actually, "blanket" is a nickname that was tagged to this kid after MJ dangled him over the railing of a hotel room balcony for all the fans and press to see, and his face and upper body were covered by a blanket, while MJ held him with one arm, and waved to the crowd with the other. Child endangerment charges were called for, but never filed.
