About Jackie Expertise Hello. I would be a good addition to AllExperts.com because I am very knowledgeable in areas concerning Michael Jackson. I own all of his solo albums, including his newest one, Invincible. I also have a good array of the Jackson 5 albums, but I don`t specialize in that area, although I can answer general questions regarding them. i have read many biographies about him, and I am constantly looking up new information. I know some personal facts too, for example, his nickname given to him by Quincy Jones while recording Thriller and Off the Wall (Smelly). In conclusion, I believe I would be a good addition to AllExperts.com. Thank you for taking the time to look over my application.
Experience I own all of Michael Jackson's solo albums, and I research information daily. I also belong to two newsletters. I know alot about his skin condition, and I have done exstensive research on the child molestation allegations, both the recent ones and the 1993 case, so feel free to ask a question about that.
Organizations Unbreakable News Group, Felist.com newsgroup. I also belong to many message boards, i.e. VH1 Michael Jackson message board, Exclusively Michael Jackson, KOP Discussion Board, MJJF, etc.

Michael Jackson does not have vitiligo. As much as a fan as I am of him, I can accept that he is a very insecure person (when it comes to his appearance) and has a condition called body dismorphic disorder (not vitiligo!). This condition is driven by an excessive concern over one's appearance. This conditioned coupled with the era in which he grew up, the effect that stardom had, and the influence of his family have made much more twisted in regards to this condition and his other problems.
Can you bleach you skin? YES
How? Using Hydroquinone or Monobenzone (the monobenzyl ether of hydroquinone). These are bleaching agents (and by bleaching I mean compunds that stop the synthesis of melanin in the skin) that will permanently depigment the skin.
Let me just say that I feel really sad for Michael. The amount and or method of application of these drugs he must have used to achieve his depigmentation must have been quite toxic. Even with skin cancer aside, I can't imagine what the consequences to his health will be. I think his money would have been much better spent on therapy than on all his extreme attempts to change his appearance so drastically.
I wish him the best!

In 1986 Michael Jackson was diagnosed with potentially lethal skin disorder disease called vitiligo, but in Michael Jackson’s case a reduction was seen. After years of fighting with vitiligo a skin disorder and covering it up finally he came to solution called “Depigmintation” this procedure is to purge the skin from the remaining color on the skin so the skin color could match.

Actually Michael did bleach his skin about every 6 months. Because vitiligo only makes patches on the skin.
