Question
What do you know about :
Automatic gearbox kickdown switch
Automatic gearbox kickdown solenoid
How do I know if they are working?
Where might they be found?
Thanks
David

Answer
borg warner
borg warner
Hi David,

The only one I have any experience with is the kick-down adjustment on the Borg Warner "66" used in the Series III XJ-6 which is a cable adjustment with no solenoid. I think you have the Borg Warner "33".
However, I think I have a manual on the Borg Warner "33" and "66" so I will search for it and see what it says about the "Kick-down" system. It may take me a day or two but I will let you know what I find.

Howard

Hi again, I did find something on an electrical switch adjustment on an older Borg Warner trans. See if this applies and let me know.
