Question

To the Canadian Embassy in Jamaica or to Pamela Smith

My question to you today is, why is it so heard for individuals that do things the right way be turned down and treated like their invisible so often and ones doing it the illegal way always get their way through?  Just to make it simple I am a Canadian Citizen and I have been trying to get my brother to attend my wedding for the pass two years and all their doing is turning him down whenever he present them with whatever they ask, and people who have been buying their visa getting the opportunity to go and rune the country they were granted/ both a visa for. And at the Jamaican Embassy why are they asking if you work voodoo and if you have a rag in your pocket and or bag and if you do please don't take it out and shake it? The majority of the people attend the Embassy go with the belief of god. Because voodoo is only real if you belief in it.  They say the good suffer for the bad but not to have peoples life on hold.   I would appreciate an answer and a truth full answer from someone working in the Embassy.

Thank You,

Answer
I am so sorry that you are having such terrible problems.  I wish there was something that I could to help, but unfortunately I am a travel agent, and I don't have any say in what the Embassy does.  I am like you and I don't understand why those that follow the rules are given such a hard time, when there are some many people that enter our countries illegally. I hope you are able to get through all the red tape soon.

Pam
