Subject: Casino Royale Lakes

Question
Just saw the latest Bond movie, casino royale, and I remember two scenes, each with an incredibly stunning lake in each case - could possibly be the same one, but viewed  from different points(?). One such scene was where Rene Mathis gets arrested by Bond after Le Chiffre got shot and Bond is recuperating, and the second scene was right at the end of the film where he shoots a "Mr White". Where are those two lakes, and what are they called?

Thanks,
Geoff

Answer
Hi Geoff,

As far as I can tell, they were filmed in the southern Coral Harbour area around the island of New Providence in the Bahamas, which was doubling for various scenes in the film, along with Paradise Island.

Thanks for your question,

Chris.
