Subject: What happened to them?

Question
I am a fan of Jamaraqui.I love their raggae, jazzy type music. I have 4 of their cd's. I haven't seen any videos from them and I haven't heard of any new cd's. What are they doing now? Do you know if they will be coming out with a new album? Are they a one hit wonder?

Answer
There hasn't been any new cd's or videos since the "King For A Day" single, from the album 'Synkronized' was released as a single in the UK and music video, it doesnt get much airtime anywhere else but the UK.  They did release a track on the Titan AE soundtrack called "Everybody's Going to the Moon".  But at the moment they are recording the 5th album which is to be called "2001: A Funk Odyessey" expected out in early fall 2001.  The first single off the album will be called "Little L" which will be released as a single in July, you will probably be able to hear sounds samples of the single by June at the official site(http://www.jamiroquai.co.uk).  The single is about getting to little love, "L", which probably led up to the break up of Jay Kay and morning breakfast tv star Denise Van Outen, they just couldn't see each other much because of their schedules.  Expect Jamiroquai to be big in 2001 and into 2002 with a world tour and the album will be more acoustic like the first album "Emergency On Planet Earth" and with about the same track length kinda album as "Travelling Without Moving" was.....HOPE THIS HELPS!  BYEBYE
