Question Hi i'm from the UK and have been looking into the possibility of working in
Japan for around a year starting next summer once i have finished college but
i know you need a university degree to acquire a proper working visa.
Therefore i was looking into a working holiday visa but i'm not too sure what
type of jobs it will allow me to apply for as i know to teach english you
require a full working visa and for that you need a degree. I also dont speak
any japanese but would be more than willing to take some courses before i
went over. Any help in providing information on what types of jobs i could
apply for would be great.

Answer Hi,
You need a degree for a full time job at an English school, but there are part time jobs you can take; or in bigger cities with a sizable foreigner population there are things like bar jobs. If you ca, look at some of the ex-pat magazines like Tokyo Journal, Kansai Time Out, etc for some ideas.
