Question
Hello,
My son and I will be traveling to Japan as part of a family vacation with my parents, they take me every 20 years (it started out as a joke, and well).  Anyways my son will be 15 months and is at that stage of drinking whole fat milk 3xs a day.  As I recall dairy in general is not big there.  Do they have milk there?  I am assuming they have diapers and wipes there and jarred baby food if I needed to supplement his diet.  I recall great fruit and veggies and think he will LOVE the soba noodles so other than the milk I am not really worried about his food intake there.  Any think you can tell me would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you so much

Answer
Dear Michelle,

That is fantastic, well you will be happy to know that nearly all the milk in Japan is 4.3 whole milk. You can get it at any convenience store.  It is actually hard to find 2
nd skim milk.  You can even find milk pasteurized at a low temperature for a longer period of time at the supermarkets.

Have a great trip!

Best regards,

Donald Nordeng
