Japan - Phototour of Kanto Region in end November 2009

Question
Dear Robert,

I am a professional photographer from Singapore ... will be bringing a group
of photo contest winners from 5 asian countries to tour Japan and teach them
the finer art of photography along the journey.

I have graduated from Japanese Studies from the National University of
Singapore and Japan is really my favourite country .. so far I have travelled to
the entire Kyushu area, Osaka, Nara, Kobe, Kyoto and parts of Hokkaido ...

This time round, I thought of bringing the participants to Tokyo and explore
the surrounding sceneries too ... the main focus will be on Sceneries ... we
are coming from 23 nov to 1 Dec ... Just wanted to check if you have any
recommendations of places to visit..

So far, I plan to go from Narita Airport to Hakone to Mt Fuji and to Takayama
and then to Kusatsu onsen and back to Tokyo again ...  we will probably have
a bus to drive us all the way ...

may i know if this plan is feasible or is it too long distance to drive and cover
in so few days ..

thank you for your time ..

Answer
Hi,

I think it is enough time, but only if you plow through each place and don't stop to smell the roses....you might take a lot of photos, but I don't know if you will enjoy it all on such a tight schedule. At any rate, a lot depends also on what you want to take pictures of...there are some places that are unique, and others that could be in a lot of places in Japan. You can get more into before you go at

Best wishes,

Robert
