I'm from indonesia and have a plan to travel at osaka.
i plan to stay at NCB hotel osaka.
what trains and subway combination is the most direct route from Osaka Station? because my bus from tokyo is arrived at osaka station. thanks.

Answer
Hi,

Well on their website they show how to get there, but it is all in Japanese! A big hotel like that would usually have info in English as well, you'd think. At any rate, they show 2 ways from Osaka Station. The faster and more expensive way is directly by taxi, about 10 minutes. But if you are not carrying a lot and want to save a little money, you can take City Bus #53 about 15 minutes to its final stop at Funatsubashi Station. You can then walk a minute or two the rest of the way.

If you are going to be looking through the city, there are a few subway maps online such as

http://www.bento.com/kansai/platform-osaka2.html
http://www.att-japan.net/modules/tinyd3/content/pdf/osaka_subway.pdf

You probably can get a day pass to ride all day on the subways...look for it on the
ticket machines or ask the attendant.
