Question
Hello,

My family of 4 would like to visit Tokyo and Kyoto for 10 days in January. Are you familiar with any weekly rental apartments that may be more convenient and economical than a typical hotel?

Please and thanks!!

Answer
Hi,

I don't know if they are more convenient, but in general they are
more economical. You might have a look at a few websites:

http://www.tokyo-weekly-hotel.com/
http://www.tmb.co.jp/~kurumi/eigo.html
http://www.shrek-watta-house.com/
http://www.yoshidahouse.net/en/index_en.html

http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~greenpeace/
http://www.palacesidehotel.co.jp/
http://www.kyotojp.com/
http://www.budgetinnjp.com/

These are generally lower priced places, small and comfortable with
fewer luxuries. If you wanted something more upscale, you might
run a search on "Weekly Manshon"

Best of luck,

Robert
