About kenji Toelken Expertise I will do my best to answer questions regarding chassis electrical, suspension, car audio, parts fabrication, engine and drive train. I don't claim to know everything there is to know about mechanics, hopefully through this experience I can learn some stuff from all of you as well.
Experience I have been involved in auto mechanics and restoration for 30 years. I have owned and restored about 50 cars ranging from Peugeot to Hillman. I have recently built 2 CJ-5's from the ground up, fabricated parts for both and currently own a Cherokee XJ in progress.
Question I have a 99 Maxima and I cannot take my emissions test because my airbag light is flashing (not sure what that light has to do with emissions). Is there any way that I can get this light turned off so that I can take and pass this test? Thanks in advance.
Answer Hey Kevin,
You have asked your question to an AllExperts jeep expert. Not familiar with the Maxima but try having the computer codes cleared by an emmissions certified garage. Should cost about $35. and may reset the light. Before spending the time and money I would recommend you pose the same question to a Maxima Expert on this site if there are any.
