About Brenda Martin
Expertise I have been one of Jehovah`s Witneses now for over 30 years, in those years I have brought up 4 children, teaching each of them the bible.Being one of Jehovah`s Witnesses has helped me cope with my Epilepsy and bring up a daughter with learning difficulties.I have conducted bible studies with people from nearly every denomination i.e. Muslim. Having used the bible all these years to answer peoples questions, I feel I am qualified to give any answer regarding Jehovah`s Witnesses and the bible.
Experience My experience has been one of attending bible lectures 5 times a week, taking part in these lectures in front of an audience and being with thousands of J.W. at conventions where I have seen the bible at work in peoples lives. It is truly a miracle when you see thousands of people meeting together and not one policeman needed, and not even a piece of litter in sight. It is like another world.

Question Is it true that Jehovah Witnesses believe Christ came back to Earth in a spiritual return in 1914?
Answer Describing ‘the sign of the conclusion of the system of things’ Jesus Christ said:
“Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations, until the appointed times of the nations are fulfilled.” (Luke 21:24)
When did this ‘trampling’ begin? The Davidic dynasty of kings came to an end when King Zedekiah was dethroned by the invading Babylonians under Nebuchadnezzar.” (2 Chronicles 36:11, 12, 16-20)
"A ruin, a ruin, a ruin I shall make it. As for this also, it will certainly become no one’s until he comes who has the legal right, and I must give it to him.’”—Ezekiel 21:26, 27.
King Zedekiah lost the “legal right” to the Davidic kingdom, the promised Messiah would regain that “right” and rule in the kingdom of God “forever.” (Luke 1:32, 33)
Counting from the time that God’s typical kingdom, with its Davidic king, was overthrown, how long would it be until God once again expressed his sovereignty through a kingdom involving the royal line of David, with Messiah as the ruling king? Daniel chapter 4 provides a basis for determining the length of the Gentile Times or “the appointed times of the nations,” during which those nations would trample on “Jerusalem,” or the kingdom of God.—Luke 21:24.
This "trampling" dates from the year in which Nebuchadnezzar removed King Zedekiah from the throne in Jerusalem.607 B.C.E.
Counting from October 607 B.C.E., the “seven times” of 2,520 years (in bible prophecy) bring us down to early October 1914 C.E.when Jesus "he who has the legal right" came & took up kingly power in heaven.
The "appointed times of the nations" began in 607 & lasted 2,520 years taking us to 1914.
all the best
