QUESTION: Hello,

I was wondering if you can explain to me how someone pays for their sins?

ANSWER: Jesus paid the price for our sins . We as imperfect humans are not able to meet Jehovahs requirements for such act. However if we are to benefit from Jesuses life sacrifice we need to  acknowledge , from the heart , That this is the only way that Jehovah will over look sins . This requires action on our part as well that will show we appreciate Jehovahs loving act of giving his only begotten Son Jesus as ransom  And at the same time appreciation for the fact that Jesus was willing to Die for us.
So remember ----- We can not pay for our sins ---- we can die in sin which is normal because  -- All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God . Says the Bible . Or we survive the great tribulation which is coming and live on into the new system when the sacrifice of Jesus will be fully applied and we will grow to perfection just like the first man Adam before he sinned . If we survive we will be approved by Jehovah to inherit everlasting Life . Please feel free to ask questions on the subject if you like .

1st Corinthians 5: 9,10 What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom
