About FutureMan Expertise I will do my best to answer all Bible based Questions as well as some of the questions relating to the world that we live in. All answers will be based on intensive research of the scriptures. Also I will refer to other written commentaries of ones I feel present a good argument towards proving bible truths.
Some who view my published answers have wondered what my "PURPOSE" is or my "REASON" is for being an expert in this section relating to Jehovah's Witnesses.
This is one way for me to express my faith in God's word and his purposes.
Another way I do this is on forums where God's word is discussed mainly by those who are or were involved with Jehovah's Witnesses.
As I'm no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses who would be involved in the door to door work, this is one of the ways where I can have an active faith.
There are many lost sheep out there who are looking for encouragement and searching for the truth.
Many have Left or drifted away or were disfellowshiped, from the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses.
And some were disfellowshiped for the same reason that I was.
And yes many of the disfellowshiped are still sheep in Jehovah God's eyes.
I do not claim myself to have an accurate knowledge of truth as yet as I'm continually studying and searching the scriptures so as to gain a more accurate knowledge of Bible truths.
Also every time someone asks me a question, it helps me to get more truth, because inevitably I do more study of God's word to answer these questions.
Experience I have been a student of the bible now for over 30 years. As well as being associated with Jehovah's witnesses for this length of time. To avoid confusion, yes I am a baptized Christian who was baptized by Jehovah's witnesses over 30 years ago under the old baptismal vows and not the ones from 1985 onwards. But I have been excommunicated just recently, for as I understand for not accepting that the "Faithful and Discreet Slave" have being appointed over all of Christ's belongings as yet. This is due to the fact that I do not believe that Jesus has come to inspect his household as yet.
My strong desire is for the Truth to be made manifest and to this end I keep on searching the scriptures to enhance my existing Bible knowledge and to learn new truths.
My fear is that there are unseen forces behind the scene of this world that is desperately trying to obscure the real truth of the Bible.
Also there is a lot of information which is being presented to us from all types of media. Whether it be written, Audio, or visual media.
The influence in our media to influence us in a certain way is very strong. As a result the people of this world are slowly be programmed to a certain way of thinking and also corrupted from moral values and principles as outlined in God's Word the Bible.
Education/Credentials Experience with computer related research on the Internet. Have done a lot of intensive research into global affairs, Scientific research, Unexplained phenomena, also various religions as to what they believe.
Please could I ask you to explain to me what "the good news" is in a single word? And then in a single phrase, sentence and paragraph.
It would be most helpful to me if you could FIRST give it to me exactly as it is in YOUR mind and heart, without opening a single book (even the Bible). It would be fine to refer to any quotations or scriptures you can remember without looking them up.
If you thereafter have time to research, I would further benefit from ALSO knowing how you see it according to publication and scripture. So your answer will have two versions. The first being closed-book, and the second open-book.
Much appreciated if you are able to help.
Kind regards
Fernando
Answer Hello Fernando, my understanding of what the Good news actually is, what the Bible says "Good News" and not the bad news and now it is in my understanding that the Good News, include Christ's sacrifice and the benefit of it to us humans, his resurrection to an IMMORTAL heavenly life and therefore a hope for us to have eternal life and a resurrection when we die, whether our hope be on the earth as a human or in the heavens as a spirit being, also the benefits of God's kingdom to those of us who will live on the earth and those of us who will minister to the earthly inhabitants from the heavens (144,000 and Jesus).
Here is a couple of scriptures that I use to support this.
14 And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.
John 17 [LITV]
2 as You gave to Him authority over all flesh, so that to all which You gave to Him, He may give to them everlasting life.
3 And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.
Psalms 37 [LITV]
9 For evildoers shall be cut off; and the ones waiting on Jehovah, they shall inherit the earth.
10 It is but a little and the wicked shall not be; yea, you shall consider his place, and he is not.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; yea, they shall delight themselves in abundant peace.
28 For Jehovah loves judgment and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever; but the wicked's seed shall be cut off.
29 The righteous shall inherit the earth and live on it forever.
Matthew 6 [LITV]
10 Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as it is in Heaven, also on the earth.
Revelation 21 [LITV]
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea no longer is.
2 And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, having been prepared as a bride, having been adorned for her Husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God with men! And He will tabernacle with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And death shall be no longer, nor mourning, nor outcry, nor will there be pain any more; for the first things passed away.
5 And the One sitting on the throne said, Behold! I make all things new. And He says to me, Write, because these Words are faithful and true.
1 Corinthians 15 [LITV]
52 In a moment, in a glance of an eye, at the last trumpet; for a trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 But when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and this mortal shall put on immortality, then will take place the Word that has been written, "Death was swallowed up in victory." Isa. 25:8
55 "O death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?" Hos. 13:14
56 Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law;
57 but thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

So from these scriptures we can see that there is both a heavenly hope for everlasting life and An earthly hope where life will continue on forever.
