Question
Hi Eddie,

"Well Ron, I'm thankful of your honesty and glad that you did not attempt to answer my question otherwise you would had gotten yourself into a deeper problem explaining it."

I don't have a problem to begin with. I told you, I don't feel any conviction by the Spirit when I call Him "Father". IMHO, it's all that different than how I called my earthly father. Whether I said "dad" or "father" or "pop" or "pa" or "daddy", my earthly father knew who I was calling to and would answer when I called him, and my Heavenly Father does the same.

"Sadly Ron you fell into Satan's trap and unless you break free from from his grasp, there's no salvation but a dire warning:"

I haven't fallen into any trap. There is no verse of Scripture I know of that tells me I MUST call God by one name only. You're the one falling into a trap, as you are making the NAME of God your god. You fixate on that, when there is no Scripture to back up only using one name for God. Like I said before, your church has far bigger problems than that. YOU need to not fall into the traps (plural) that your church has set for you.

"And as a friendly advice, stop reading websites that will NOT build your faith towards Jehovah God, especially websites that are vile and hostile to Jehovah like the one your suggesting."

Those websites aren't "hostile towards Jehovah God", they aren't even "hostile" toward the WBTS. What they are doing is showing the contradictions in your church.

Did your church's governing body let you visit the website and read the article? You say your church doesn't keep you from doing independent research, but you and I both know you're not being honest. You and I both know that members of WBTS are discouraged from reading any materials not put out by the church.

"If you feel uneasy or unsure saying it then how do you know that you have "a more close and personal relationship with Him"?"

I told you, I DON'T feel uneasy or unsure. I call God what I call Him, and I have not felt the Holy Spirit telling me I'm doing something wrong. I need to see Scripture that COMMANDS me to call Him by any one particular name only.

"And judging from the works of the WTBTS Translation committee, Jehovah's spirit was/is indeed with them when the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures was produced!!!"

If I can't trust their credentials, I can't trust their works, because I can't trust their motives. It's interesting that the NWT translates almost word-for-word with the KJV, EXCEPT FOR areas that conflict with your church's beliefs. So these scholars of old got everything else right, just not the stuff that your church believes. Convenient.

Hi Ron,

You said:

"I haven't fallen into any trap. There is no verse of Scripture I know of that tells me I MUST call God  by one name only. You're the one falling into a trap, as you are making the NAME of God your god. You  fixate on that, when there is no Scripture to back up only using one name for God. Like I said before,  your church has far bigger problems than that. YOU need to not fall into the traps (plural) that your  church has set for you."....
.... I need to see Scripture that COMMANDS me to call Him by any one particular name only.

Here's a couple from your own favorite KJV Bible.

"That [men] may know that thou, whose name alone [is] JEHOVAH, [art] the most high over all the earth." (Psa 83:18 KJV)

"And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said [to] this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen." (Gen 22:14 KJV)

"And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by [the name of] God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them." (Exd 6:3 KJV)

If Jehovah is NOT the commonly KNOWN name of the Most High God, then why did the KJB (1611/1769) used it?

Other translations:

"That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, Art the Most High over all the earth. " (Psa 83:18 ASV)

If Jehovah is NOT the commonly KNOWN name of the Most High God, then why did the ASV Bible used it?

"That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, art the Most High over all the earth." (Psa 83:18 DBY)

If Jehovah is NOT the commonly KNOWN name of the Most High God, then why did the ASV Bible used it?

"That [men] may know that thou, whose name alone [is] JEHOVAH, [art] the most high over all the earth." (Psa 83:18 WEB)

If Jehovah is NOT the commonly KNOWN name of the Most High God, then why did the Darby Bible used it?

"That [men] may know that thou, whose name alone [is] JEHOVAH, [art] the most high over all the earth." (Psa 83:18 WEB)

If Jehovah is NOT the commonly KNOWN name of the Most High God, then why did the Webster Bible used it?

"And they know that Thou -- (Thy name [is] Jehovah -- by Thyself,) [Art] the Most High over all the earth!" (Psa 83:18 YLT)

If Jehovah is NOT the commonly KNOWN name of the Most High God, then why did the Young's Bible used it?

"Y conozcan que tu nombre es Jehová;  Tú solo Altísimo sobre toda la tierra." (Psa 83:18 RVR60)

If Jehovah is NOT the commonly KNOWN name of the Most High God, then why did the Reina-Valera Bible used it?

Are these commands NOT from Jehovah God Himself?

If you say no, again by whose authority and by whose command are you following to say otherwise?

Who is this Lord your following if Jesus Christ himself said:

“. . .Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. . .” (Matthew 6:9)

““I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have observed your word.” (John 17:6)

“And I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in union with them.”” (John 17:26)

““‘The one that conquers—I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will by no means go out [from it] anymore, and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which descends out of heaven from my God, and that new name of mine.” (Revelation 3:12)

Which "holy spirit' is it that's telling you

"There is no verse of Scripture I know of that tells me I MUST call God by one name only"?

if the God and Jesus himself said otherwise?

Care to explain?

What's your justification?

In addition you said so yourself "these scholars of old got everything else right", are they wrong in these instance then?

As for the websites you're recommending me to looked at, sorry, IT'S NO ONE ELSE IS CHOICE BUT MINE. I choose not to pollute my mind with apostate and satanic teachings - pretending to be "light".

After all...

"“. . .such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. 15 It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works.” (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)

Finally, from the newly released The Divine Name KJV Bible:

"he Divine Name King James Bible is

the unrevised 1769 edition of the Authorized King James Version
with the wonderful restoration of God's personal and unique name Jehovah in over 6970 rightful places. </i>

The endless wealth of divine secrets about the Almighty God that are revealed in the Old Testament  attach to the name Jehovah, the God and Father of Jesus Christ. (John 20:17)  With Jehovah restored a Christian can without any interpretation of Scripture show which Lord is Jehovah and which Lord is Jesus. Why is it important to see this distinction?  The Bible explains that after all that God created to show his love for his creation, the Devil, of his own free will, has called God's motives into question to justify a rebellious spirit of independence from God. (Luke 19:12-27)  What more could God personally say or do to exonerate himself of the slander?  With God's name restored to the Bible it becomes clear that while Jesus has his own free will, he is nothing like Satan because Jesus will do nothing without permission of our Father and our Almighty God.  God saw this as the wise way to show us what is going on 'behind the scene' and Jesus thus exonerates Jehovah, clearing up the confusing lies told about God that make God seem unknowable.  Thus it is more clear how Jesus who has received all authority from Jehovah and is our Lord and Savior, is leading us back to the Father. (1 Corinthians 15:27,28)  With The Divine Name King James Bible we can show how Jesus both made God's name known and testified about God's motives. (Philippians 2:9-11) </i>

At John 17:11 Jesus prayed: "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory  which I had with thee before the world was. ...  I have manifested thy name  unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world....  keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be  one, as we are.

How important to be kept in God's own name, Jehovah,
since by it faithful followers of Christ shall be made one!"
