Jehovah`s Witness/Romans 11.

Many religions say that God hasn't rejected the Israelite's based on Romans 11 ,so why is it that you disagree?

Hello mate

Thanks for writing

I believe this has been discussed on here just recently but I wasn't here to get involved in that conversation , but I shall do so now.

Let me start you with a simple answer and then I'll expand.

The simple answer is because Christendom have no scriptural understanding, whatsoever!!! Whereas we are God's true people and have his holy spirit to understand the scriptures.

The facts can become clear based on these two simple points.

1) Satan has control of the world.

1 John 5:

19 "the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one"

2) Satan blinds people spiritually

2 Cor 4:

4 " among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers"

So Satan has all these wars and conflicts going on in the middle East and in and around Israel, knowing that spiritually blind people are looking at these events as fulfillment of Bible prophecy in turn keeping them blinded to the light of truth!!

Very sly and very sneaky but that's what the Devil is, so we cannot be surprised!!

So you have all these spiritually blind people in Christendom saying "look to the nation of Israel" "Look for the signs in Israel" and Satan chuckles to himself and rubs his hands together with glee "hahahahaha he go's, this is how clever I am hahahaha"

However Jehovah's witnesses are different we are also mentioned in 1 John, here in the very next verse.

1 John 5:

20  "But we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us intellectual capacity that we may gain the knowledge of the true one"

So has God rejected the Israelites?? and what does Romans 11 mean??

No God has not rejected the Israelites as individuals, but he has as a nation. Jesus makes this clear here.

Matt 21:

43 " This is why I say to YOU, The kingdom of God will be taken from YOU and be given to a nation producing its fruits"

Matt 23:

37  "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the killer of the prophets and stoner of those sent forth to her,—how often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks together under her wings! But YOU people did not want it. 38 Look! YOUR house is abandoned to YOU"

So quite clearly we see that the nation of Israel was abandoned the Kingdom was taken from them and given to a different nation, quite clear and simple.

So what about Romans 11.

Lets look at the verse in question

" I ask, then, God did not reject his people, did he?"

So now Paul asks a question. But the question is was he talking about God's people as the nation or God's people as individuals??

Let's look at what he next says

" Never may that happen! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin"

Now this is regards Paul's salvation. So was Paul's salvation based on the fact he was a natural Israelite?? Do you have to be a natural Israelite to gain salvation??

The answer is NO!!

Now let me reword it to make it clearer, let's look at Christendoms version first.

" I ask, then, God did not reject the nation of Israel did he? Never may that happen! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin and If God's abandoned the nation of Israel how can I gain salvation"

Makes no sense!!

Let's look at our version

"I ask, then, God did not reject his people as individuals, did he? Never may that happen! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin and If God's abandoned all individual Israelite's how can I gain salvation"

So it's clear Paul's salvation was not based on being part of the nation of Israel it was based on the fact God hadn't abandoned all natural Israelites. Which is why he then say's this

5" In this way, therefore, at the present season also a remnant has turned up according to a choosing due to undeserved kindness"

Paul was part of the remnant of natural Israelite's.

So Romans 11 is clear, individual Israelite's can gain salvation. You don't have to be a natural Israelite to gain salvation as Christendom inadvertently claim this verse teaches.

I have many years of experience serving Jehovah . I have known Jehovah a long time and I have known his organization . I have been privileged to see great progress not only in my own personal relationship with my God and Father but within his organization. I am an avid reader of the bible and have been gifted by my Father with the indescribable privilege of being allowed to understand his own word.

The truth is all about scripture and logic. The two go hand in hand . There is not one bible verse that cannot be understood within the realms of human reasoning. Not one!! Why would it?? The bible is God's message to his creation . His creation who he made to understand things in a specific way. God is not stupid or unwise as to leave as a message then allow us to guess what it means or who he is. 1 Tim 2:3This is fine and acceptable in the sight of our Savior, God, 4whose will is that all sorts of people should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth" Notice the expression "accurate knowledge".

The bible leaves signs of true christianity there are many. Jehovah's witnesses meet every single sign. One sign is the removal of false teachings that permeated the world soon after the apostles died. Jesus foretold this and he also foretold of the restoration of pure worship in the period known as the last days. The days we are currently living in. Jesus was a master of using illustrations he used an illustration to highlight this point Matt 13: "The Kingdom of the heavens may be likened to a man who sowed fine seed in his field. 25While men were sleeping, his enemy came and oversowed weeds in among the wheat and left. 26When the stalk sprouted and produced fruit, then the weeds also appeared. 27So the slaves of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow fine seed in your field? How, then, does it have weeds?’ 28He said to them, ‘An enemy, a man, did this.’ The slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go out and collect them?’ 29He said, ‘No, for fear that while collecting the weeds, you uproot the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest season, I will tell the reapers: First collect the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them up; then gather the wheat into my storehouse" Why did he speak in illustrations? Matt 13:10So the disciples came and said to him: “Why do you speak to them by the use of illustrations?” 11In reply he said: “To you it is granted to understand the sacred secrets of the Kingdom of the heavens, but to them it is not granted" The kingdom of the heavens is full of sacred secrets that Jesus reveals only to his followers. This privilege is open to all who are really willing to submit to God and his Christ in action not just in words. These are the ones God is looking for. Are you really one?? If so I encourage you to let Jehovah's witnesses show you what the Bible really teaches.

False religion is disgusting to God and to his true worshippers it is likened in the Bible to a harlot Rev 17:"I will show you the judgment upon the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, whereas those who inhabit the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication" Whereas the bride of Christ is likened to a virgin Rev 14: 4"These are the ones who did not defile themselves with women; in fact, they are virgins" These are both used as spiritual terms here and show the importance of pure and clean worship for God's people.
