Thank you for the last reply.
What do you mean by this statement from you:
"Well we know already that the King of the South (capitalistic nations) will win this "economic tug of war"."
>>How do you know that the King of the south will win this "economic tug of war"???
Any biblical insight?
Thank you and L.F.
I was looking at this developing situation from an economic perspective where the capitalistic nations have the advantage against this new "regime" called BRICS. They have the advantage in that the currency being used throughout the world is still the $dollar. Furthermore like I mentioned in the other post, the U.N. is also funded by the capitalistic nations, so it will be very difficult if not impossible for a new currency to suddenly appear in a form of a BRICS coin to fund and support the U.N. In this sense the "King of the South (capitalistic nations) will win this economic tug of war. Unless of course I'm wrong. We'll have to see what will come of it.
As for scriptural insight, I was reminded of the "pulling/pushing" between the two kings mentioned in the book of Daniel where it says:
And in the time of [the] end the king of the south will engage with him in a pushing, and against him the king of the north will storm with chariots and with horsemen and with many ships; and he will certainly enter into the lands and flood over and pass through. (Daniel 11:40)
This pushing / pulling (however you look at it) between the "communistic nations" and the "capitalistic" nations have been going on for a while now. Both blocs have "locked horns" (so to speak) for world domination. And this new BRICS regime vs the NWO seems to be another of this pushing/pulling. But like I said - it will depend on the strength or weakness of this new BRICS regime.
(wow! looking at this again, it seems to be oil and precious materials are at their disposal, so it's quite a formidable group. They might be able to give the KOS a "run for their money" - so to speak. Interesting, I have to dig deeper into this, now that you got may attention).
In the end though both "kings" will be destroyed by the King of kings and Lord of lords - Jesus Christ.
And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite; (Daniel 2:44)
We don't know will be the NEW King of the North, but formerly the communistic bloc led by USSR was the KON.
KOS still remain the same - capitalistic nations led by U.S and Britain.
