Jehovah`s Witness/Friendly Warning
To the person who goes by the screen name Dee.
Why are you still on the fence if you say you want to be baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses?
You sent this post to R Jones:
>>Hi Mr. Jones,
No talk to in a long time..hope all is well..I'm still studying & thinking 'bout getting baptized...My Subject is: Scared...are witnesses false prophets by these scriptures: Matt. 24:23-28
Then if anyone says to YOU, ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or, ‘There!’ do not believe it.24For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.25Look! I have forewarned YOU.26Therefore, if people say to YOU, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; ‘Look! He is in the inner chambers,’ do not believe it.27For just as the lightning comes out of eastern parts and shines over to western parts, so the presence of the Son of man will be.
I don't want to be considered a false prophet because we have been told that Jesus came back or started to rule in 1914, the beginning of WWI...I know I know invisible. But doesn't the scriptures point out that not to listen if someone(s) say he is here or there? I'm just asking, because I don't want Jehovah to get angry with me & call me false...then I got more to answer for when I'm standing in judgement...Hope to hear from you soon.
Something doesn't make sense in what you said.
If you're "...still studying & thinking 'bout getting baptized.." then why the doubt?
Why ask an apostate and opposer for advice?
If you really are "thinking 'bout getting baptized" to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses, then why solicit an answer from someone who mocks the Faithful and Discrete Slave Class?
What were you expecting from someone who pretend to be in know but is not?
Life or death? Truth?
If Jehovah's Witnesses are what you say they are:
"Scared...false prophets by these scriptures"?
Then why study with them and think of getting baptized?
It doesn't make sense.
"... because I don't want Jehovah to get angry with me & call me false...then I got more to answer for when I'm standing in judgement..."?
I'm really puzzled by that statement.
First you're judging Jehovah's Witnesses as ""Scared...false prophets by these scriptures" then asked an opposer / apostate for advice then imply that Jehovah will get angry with you for studying with "false prophets"?
Are you really looking for the truth?
If so then MAKE UP YOUR MIND!
If we are false prophets then why the deception?
Why study with us?
Jehovah God has no used for someone who is on the fence and indecisive.
“In fact, let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from Jehovah; 8 he is an indecisive man, unsteady in all his ways.” (James 1:7, 8)
Which side are you with anyway?
“He that is not on my side is against me, and he that does not gather with me scatters.” (Matthew 12:30)
If we're not the ones fulfilling this prophecy then go following mr. jones and his elk.
“And it must occur in the final part of the days [that] the mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, and it will certainly be lifted up above the hills; and to it peoples must stream. 2 And many nations will certainly go and say: “Come, YOU people, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will instruct us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For out of Zion law will go forth, and the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem. 3 And he will certainly render judgment among many peoples, and set matters straight respecting mighty nations far away. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. They will not lift up sword, nation against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.” (Micah 4:1-3)
“. . .how God for the first time turned his attention to the nations to take out of them a people for his name.” (Acts 15:14)
““YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none.” (Isaiah 43:10)
If you really are searching for the truth, may I give you a friendly advice, stay away from opposers and apostates and make up your mind whether Jehovah's Witnesses are God's People or not. Otherwise, you're just wasting your time as well as the faithful brother's / sister's time..
...and time is running out.
