Hi Eddie G.
Hope you are well.
I thought this was a typical comment from Derrick Holland
"Danny, my prayer for you, is that you will prayerfully research this Organization that you are a part of, or are defending"
Why is Derrick Holland advocating and encouraging researching an organization.? Surely he should be advocating and encouraging researching the bible. That is what Jehovah's witnesses do advocate and encourage researching the bible. It seems to me that Derrick needs to follow the Jehovah's witnesses example in more than one way.
Thanks for asking. I just posted a letter regarding the fruitless endeavor to talk with or even talk about these critics of Jehovah's Witnesses.
There's nothing good that will come out of it but that they will just steal your valuable time. Then afterwards realized that it was a fruitless endeavor. Furthermore, you come out of it like someone who just got out of the shower, put on new clean cloths then got splattered with mud.
There's nothing good that will come out it. So best way is to stay away from their games. To them this is a game. Nothing more nothing less. They will continually throw mud at you hoping a response. They don't stop, so just be careful. Avoid their poison because even a little of it is deadly.
They like to plant doubts about God, about Jesus and about God's Organization. Just like Satan who planted doubts in the mind of Eve, these critics will use the same tactic. "Is that so"? they will ask, hoping for a reply. They will use old publications, old teachings as if they are still valid. They will use words from ex-witnesses to weaken you.
So the advice from the Lord Jesus is apropos:
"Keep following me, and let the dead bury their dead." (Matthew 8:22)
"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things."(Philippians 4:8)
And finally the prophecy about God's Organization:
"In the final part of the days, The mountain of the house of Jehovah Will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, And it will be raised up above the hills, And to it all the nations will stream. 3 And many peoples will go and say: "Come, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, To the house of the God of Jacob. He will instruct us about his ways, And we will walk in his paths. For law will go out of Zion, And the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem." (Isaiah 2:2, 3)
