Jehovah`s Witness/The Bible Has The Last Word...On with the message
Hope all is well with you!
Any teaching that says that Jesus is Almighty God and uncreated goes contrary to the Bible. So it doesn't really matter if the exact understanding is completely known or not known, because all that needs to be known for it to be false is the thought that Jesus is Almighty God. Right there is where the truth stops and the lies begin. Trying to say, the different beliefs of this lie has any bearing on the total understanding of it stops as soon as one says, Jesus is Almighty God. Nothing further need be explained because it's a lie and not taught in the Bible. Just like counterfeit money, one need not examine fake money to see where it differs from the real money, all one needs to know is it's fake money. After that any argument about its make up becomes null and void and really in effect carries no weight because it's fake from the start. Same with the different beliefs that end up with Jesus being Almighty God. Once that is stated, the rest of it carries no weight. It is a lie and thus has no place in a true Christian's life, period!
So again ANY teaching that says that Jesus is Almighty God and uncreated goes contrary to the Bible.
That would include the Trinity, according to this site (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinitarianism
) it defines God as three divine persons or hypostases: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit; "one God in three persons". The three persons are distinct, yet are one "substance, essence or nature". In this context, a "nature" is what one is, while a "person" is who one is.
It also admits: "Scripture does not contain expressly a formulated doctrine of the Trinity.
(also known as modalism, modalistic monarchianism, or modal monarchism) is the nontrinitarian belief that the Heavenly Father, Resurrected Son and Holy Spirit are different modes or aspects of one monadic God, as perceived by the believer, rather than three distinct persons within the Godhead.
Any true Jewish person who does not even believe in Jesus, only knows Jehovah (Yahweh from the Hebrew Scriptures) and feel that Christianity with its Trinity teachings are foolish. Let's take a look at this since the Jews were once Jehovah's chosen people. Let's just assume for a minute here that Jehovah had not sent Jesus to earth yet and we were still waiting for the ransomer. What God would be worshipped only? Why were the Jewish religious leaders so against Jesus? Because they only worshipped the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Jehovah! And they refused to recognize the means of salvation that Jehovah had put into place. Just because evildoers chose to remove Jehovah's name from the scriptures and even from direct quotes made from the Hebrew scriptures that used the name Jehovah, doesn't make Jehovah now Jesus. As Jesus said we are to pray to his Father to let his name be sanctified (Matt 6:9)
Logic is why we were made in God's image....not like the animals who can't reason. So spiritually speaking still requires logic, otherwise, one would be like the unreasoning animals....and the Bible speaks of such ones, as being earthly, animalistic, demonic who act with unreasonableness or illogical.
James 3:14,15 "Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him by his fine conduct demonstrate works performed with a mildness that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and contentiousness in your hearts, do not be bragging and lying against the truth. 15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above; it is earthly, animalistic, demonic."
So to say that believing that Jesus is Almighty God is to be understood without reason, or logic, because it's spiritual, goes contrary to this scripture here:
James 3:16 "But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, reasonable, ready to obey, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, not hypocritical."
Wisdom from above, which of course is spiritual, is reasonable the Bible says, or "easy to be entreated" which means logical. If something is easy to be entreated, it can't be illogical, as anything that makes no sense and goes against all logic is not easy to be entreated. No where does the Bible say that spiritual things are without logic or reason, why that is the very opposite of what the Bible teaches. Why would someone promote the very opposite of what the Bible teaches!
Again, humans were created in God's image, (Gen. 1:26) unlike the animals or brute beasts who cannot reason
2 Peter 2:12 "But these men, like unreasoning animals that act on instinct and are born to be caught and destroyed, speak abusively about things of which they are ignorant. They will suffer destruction brought on by their own destructive course, "
Jude 10, 19 "But these men are speaking abusively about all the things they really do not understand. And in all the things that they do understand by instinct like unreasoning animals, they go on corrupting themselves. 19 These are the ones who cause divisions, animalistic men, not having spirituality."
Who continues to mislead people and teach the very opposite of what Jehovah says in the Bible? Satan!! (2 Cor. 4:4)
Is Jesus the Jehovah of the Bible?
The answer is NO...why? There are too many to even count or name!
That would mean that Jehovah has changed his name, wouldn't it? Does the Bible say that Jehovah ever changed his name? Does the Bible say that any names have been changed?
The Bible is clear that Jehovah ALONE is the Most High over all the earth.
Psalms 83:18 "May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.
The Bible says that his name is Jehovah forever, not until the NT was written and then it would change to Jesus and Almighty God would die for our sins!
Exodus 3:15 ".....‘Jehovah the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation. "
Exodus 6:3 "And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty, but with regard to my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them. "
The Bible says God does not change
Mal. 3:6 "“For I am Jehovah; I do not change. ...."
But the Bible does tell us that some names were changed, but not Almighty God's name. Abram to Abraham, Sarai to Sarah, Jacob to Israel, etc.
Now, what does it say about Jesus? What does the name Jesus mean? It means "Jehovah is Salvation"....therefore, Jesus has his father's name within his. (Compare Ex. 23:20,21; Ex. 14:19 & 1 Cor. 10:1-3) And that son of God had a different name before he was born as a human and GIVEN the name of Jesus by his Father Jehovah.
For the Bible helps us to see that Jehovah's only begotten son was given the name Jesus (meaning Jehovah is salvation) because he was obedient as far as death and this is the reason he was given this name, which also let's us know that he had a different name before Jehovah gave him that name. It's not two Jehovah's, it's already been established in scripture that Jehovah said that would be his name forever and he does not change (Ex. 3:15 & Mal. 3:6). So Jesus had to have some other name before the earth was even created. As shown by this scripture here:
Phil. 2:8-11 "More than that, when he came as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, yes, death on a torture stake. 9 For this very reason, God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name, 10 so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend—of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground— 11 and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father."
In the Revelation that God gave to Jesus who sent his angel to relate it in signs to John (Rev. 1:1) we see that Jesus has a new name....well that helps us to see that Jesus was given different names. So Michael, Abaddon/Apollyon, are meaningful names that Jesus' Father gave him and has nothing to do with any triune deity belief whatsoever, proving even more so that Jesus is not Jehovah of the OT. To make such a comparison is disturbing to say the least. To compare Jesus being given different names because of the different roles he's filled to a dishonoring lie against the Almighty God Jehovah holds no weight in comparison, none!
When the Bible speaks of Jehovah speaking in a lot of cases, it is a known fact that Jehovah sends respresentatives on his behalf, this representative is speaking, not of his own originality but that of which he was sent to speak by Almighty God. So it states, Jehovah said....because it's Jehovah's words.
An example, if a secretary is told by her boss to relay messages to people, or send correspondence in behalf of himself, it's common sense to know that the messenger, the secretary, is relaying someone else's thoughts and thereby it would be conveyed as coming from the boss, not the secretary.
And is why the saying came about, "Don't shoot the messenger" Why? Because the person relying the message of another is not the originator of the message, they are the representative and ones should not be angry at the person who is delivering the message for someone else, but people do get angry at the messenger as if it were from the messenger, and they reply as such. We see that in the Bible many times, when it was an angel relaying a message from Jehovah and it says it's Jehovah speaking or the person is speaking face to face with Jehovah, etc.
One example is of the burning bush and Moses....it says Jehovah went on to say to Moses, Ex. 3:6,7, but if we read the beginning at Ex. 3:2, we see that it was an angel who was really speaking to Moses, but he was relaying to Moses Jehovah's words, and not his own, thereby it says, Jehovah said, etc.
Same with the three ANGELS that spoke to Abraham. This helps us to see that ALL Three were representatives of Jehovah and not one was Jehovah himself, as they were three men standing there (Gen 18:2) and Jehovah is not a man (Num. 23:19) but is a Spirit (John 4:24) and no man can see him and live (Ex 33:20) Because when Abraham is asking the angel as if speaking to Jehovah if he will destroy the cities if righteous ones are found there. The other two went on to the city where Lot was at. Here we see that the Bible calls them angels (Gen. 19:1) Then when the two angels urged Lot to flee to the mountainous region, Lot replied as if speaking directly to Jehovah (Gen. 19:18) And the Angel replied as if he was Jehovah answering Lot, (Gen. 19:21,22) But we already know it was the two angels.
So that helps people see that ANGELS were used by Jehovah as his representatives and thereby the replies were Jehovah's replies supplied through his angelic ministers, as that was their jobs!
Psalms 103:20,21 "Praise Jehovah, all you his angels, mighty in power, Who carry out his word, obeying his voice. 21 Praise Jehovah, all his armies, His ministers who do his will." (Also Ps. 104:4: Heb. 1:14)
The fact is according to the Bible, Jehovah will always have the name Jehovah, the Almighty God....but Jesus has not always had the name Jesus. And that my friends is something to think about with logic as we are told that is spiritual, Wisdom from above is not illogical or unreasonable, hard to be entreated, but among other things, it's reasonable or easy to be entreated! (James 3:16)
The Bible has the last word......
Hi Sister Tee!
Thanks for the post. Excellent.
Like you said Sister Tee, exactly!
"Just like counterfeit money, one need not examine fake money to see where it differs from the real money, all one needs to know is it's fake money".
Sadly, Trinitarians got the wrong side of the stick as they continue to study the fake one in order to find the real "money".
So on and on they go on the wheel of falsehood until it's too late then BAM! The Great Tribulation is upon us. By then it will be too late to realized that they were riding on the wrong horse - leading to destruction.
But hopefully though some will open their eyes and see that this trinity doctrine of theirs is very flawed and is based on falsehood.
So we will just have to continue to search for the humble ones.
Write again Sister T!
May Jah continue to bless you and your ministry.
