Jehovah`s Witness/The true religion
Several years ago I was part of a bible group that had a mixture of people from different religions. I grew dissatisfied with it because we always veered off the bible to interject church doctrine which almost always differed from the bible. I later was visited by Jehovah Witnesses with some literature stating "Can You Trust the Bible"? To cut a long story short, I have been studying now for three months and believe I have found the true religion. Just wanted to give the Jehovah Witnesses a big thank you!
Thanks for the wonderful report. I'm quite sure that you will have more wonderful and exiting things to come in terms of Bible Truths. You will learn a lot what the Bible is all about and how it can benefit you! So continue in your spiritual journey and may Jehovah God bless you abundantly.
As to what you said about the "bible group", funny thing, it's similar to what this person we're studying with said. He told us that while he was in college, he joined this Bible Study Group (offered by a non-denominational church). He said, the study will usually start with a Bible verse. A discussion begins. But then for some reason they always end up somewhere else. They get off topic and gone to another that was totally unrelated to the original discussion. It left him scratching his head afterwards. Most of the time, he said, they will discuss doctrines. The Trinity doctrine is a favorite of theirs. Other times they will talk about tithing. Eventually he left the group as he felt it was a waste of time.
But now, comparing his past bible study with the Witnesses, he admits - night and day difference. His questions are answered logically and satisfactorily. The answers are fully backed up by the Scriptures. Furthermore, he now fully understand what the scriptures meant and what they are all about and what he needs to do about them. The studies leaves him invigorated and hopeful about the future. His fears starts to disappear. And most of all, he said that he is now able to forgive himself as he now truly understand what Jesus' ransom is all about.
He fully enjoys the study and want to make it into three days a week study instead of two days a week.
Now that's a person who is spiritually hungry! Truly, Jesus' words apply to him and will most assuredly benefit from it:
“. . .“Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the Kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.” (Mt 5:3)
“. . .“Happy are those hungering and thirsting for righteousness, since they will be filled.” (Mt 5:6)
“. . .This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” (Joh 17:3)
Now if you want to see how God's Organization is moving in these "last days" and how united they are - make sure to attend the Regional Convention. Ask your conductor/s to take you. You will enjoy it - guaranteed!
