Question Hello Mr.B,
Thank you for your question.The answer is yes that all other religions except God's chosen people,Jehovah's Witnesses know Him personally.
((( I think you meant to say, that only JWs' know Him personally, did you not?)))
That is because they choose not too.On the other hand we worship the Almighty everyday in spirit and truth as Jesus Christ said we should.
((( Jesus said that the Samaritan women worshiped a God, she did not know. And that those who do worship, and those whom He seeks to worship Him, must do so in spirit and truth...)))
We all get to know our loving Creator with our communication with Him in prayer and living by His high standards.Jehovah said we must be Holy because He is Holy.Bible knowledge is good but it has to be in your heart above all else.Only Jehovah can read your heart.None of us can actually know Him personally in a physical way but only in a spiritual way and that is where faith comes in.You either have or you don't.

There is no in between,your either for or against.You must remember too that faith without works is dead.You can say you never knew Him if knowing all about Him and then going against him.Jesus Christ said get away from me and that he never knew them,but in reality he did know them.

Jehovah said anyone asking for Holy Spirit it will be given him,but only to those who are sincere and if it is in harmony with His will.

Without God's Holy Spirit we wouldn't be able to do His will in this wicked world that is lying in the power of him,Satan.He is the god of this system of things and ruler of it.So in order to conquer the world like Jesus Christ did,we need a Helper or Comforter,the Holy Spirit to do it.Jesus Christ said that this means everlasting life,their taking in knowledge of the only true God,and the one whom He sent forth,Jesus Christ.So after this precious knowledge has been acquired its a matter of living by it till the end to be saved.

Only those who endure to the end will be saved.Remember this,minding the spirit means life and minding the flesh means death.Jesus said at John 11:25:he that exercises faith in me,even though he dies,will come to life;and everyone that is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all.So it takes faith with exercising by means of works that produce good fruits and endurance to the end is what will save us.This includes dedication and baptism to do God's will forever.

Answer The purpose of being saved is to be declared righteous by God and thus becoming one of his children that will have the privlege of serving Him forever on a paradise earth which was original His purpose for mankind from very the beginning.The real life is yet to come. The way it has been throughout time there have been judgment days and the key is to come out of them in God's favor,and that is why we have His instruction book to guide and direct us.All those that are in their graves now are actually in a better place than we are because there going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous for them,but we must stand firm while alive during these judgment periods because
only the great crowd that comes out of the great tribulation
will get an opportunity to live forever along with the resurrected ones.The final judgment will be when Satan is loosed from the abyss and when all that he has misled again
decide to follow him,they will all be thrown into the lake of fire,the second death,the finality.This event will take place after the thousand year reign of Christ.So if anyone is alienated from the only true God Jehovah when this great tribulation starts,will go directly to the lake of fire with no hope of a resurrection at all.I guess to avoid all this you had better have got to know this God personally beforehand.
