Do Witnesses claim that the Earth is only around 6,000 years old?

Hi!

This is a good question. I don't know. I would definately ask a Witness. There is a blurb here about the age of the earth: http://www.watchtower.org/library/g/2002/6/8/article_01.htm.

I certainly don't believe the earth is that young. There is just way too much evidence to the contrary, especially the size of the universe and how fast and far light travels. God shows himself in the universe, and I don't believe some people who say that God made it look that way -- that would be deceiving.
