About Brenda Martin
Expertise
I have been one of Jehovah`s Witneses now for over 30 years, in those years I have brought up 4 children, teaching each of them the bible.Being one of Jehovah`s Witnesses has helped me cope with my Epilepsy and bring up a daughter with learning difficulties.I have conducted bible studies with people from nearly every denomination i.e. Muslim. Having used the bible all these years to answer peoples questions, I feel I am qualified to give any answer regarding Jehovah`s Witnesses and the bible.

Experience
My experience has been one of attending bible lectures 5 times a week, taking part in these lectures in front of an audience and being with thousands of J.W. at conventions where I have seen the bible at work in peoples lives. It is truly a miracle when you see thousands of people meeting together and not one policeman needed, and not even a piece of litter in sight. It is like another world.

Question
My wife is a Jehovah Witness and I studied the word on my own putting all my trust in the Scriptures. I have no religious preference but I’m putting all my trust in YHWH.
I had asked many Jehovah Witness and they were not able to show me in the scriptures that shows Christ as being created but they did show me that Christ is a master worker with the Father. But they were unable to show me that he was created.
I do see how the Son glorifies the Father. And the father glorifies the Son. (Php2:7)..But emptied himself and took a slave's form.
The question is to what extent of the glory received by the Father to the Son. (Isaiah9:6)Eternal Father referring to Jesus compared to his existence in Proverbs8:23 from time indefinitely I was installed.
 Q-Installed from where?
   Ans. - Time indefinitely.
 Q- Installed to where?
Ans.-Installed in place for the beginning of all creation.
Q- So is that the reason why he is considered to be the Beginning of all creation? Is it because he was installed in place for all creation to begin? Was he bought forth from time indefinitely and installed in place for the beginning of all creation?

I have seen many titles given to the Son:
The only Begotten Son
The firstborn from the dead, but we all know before the resurrection of Christ that Lazarus was resurrected and a boy was also resurrected. The firstborn from the dead suppose to be a title given to the Son?
The firstborn of all creation is it because he was installed in place for all creation to begin because he is the beginning of all creation.

Col 1:18 and he is the head of the body, the congregation. He is the beginning (Q- is it the beginning of the congregation, the church?)The firstborn from the dead, that he might become the one who is first in all things.

Become the first in all things Q-Is this the reason why he is the firstborn, the beginning of all things?
Col 1:16 ...all things have been created through him and for him. Prov 8:30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker... Q- Is this the reason why he would be called Eternal Father?
With your credentials you should be able to answer many of my questions. If you are unable to answer please find someone who can!

Answer
Hello there Luis, you asked--" SCRIPTURES THAT SHOW CHRIST AS BEING CREATED"

Jesus was called God’s “only-begotten Son” because Jehovah created him directly. (John 3:16)

As “the firstborn of all creation,” Jesus was then used by God to create all other things. (Colossians 1:15; Revelation 3:14)

John 1:1 says that “the Word” (Jesus in his prehuman existence) was with God “in the beginning.” So the Word was with Jehovah when “the heavens and the earth” were created.

God was addressing the Word when He said: “Let us make man in our image.” (Genesis 1:1, 26)

Likewise, the Word must have been God’s beloved “master worker,” described at Proverbs 8:22-31 as wisdom personified, laboring at Jehovah’s side in the making of all things. After Jehovah brought him into existence, the Word spent ages with God in heaven before becoming a man on earth.

Liddell and Scott’s Greek-English Lexicon (Oxford, 1968, p. 252---“ The logical conclusion is that the one being quoted at Revelation 3:14 is a creation, the first of God’s creations, that he had a beginning. Compare Proverbs 8:22, where, as many Bible commentators agree, the Son is referred to as wisdom personified. According to RS, NE, and JB, the one there speaking is said to be “created.”)

(PHP2:7)

God’s Son willingly accepted the assignment. This is evident from Philippians 2:5-8; he “emptied himself” of his heavenly glory and spirit nature and “took a slave’s form” in submitting to the transferal of his life to the earthly, material, human plane.

ISAIAH9:6) –ETERNAL FATHER?

Whereas Adam passed death on to his children, Jesus’ legacy is life eternal. First Corinthians 15:22 explains: “Just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive.” Appropriately, then, Jesus is called “Eternal Father.”—Isaiah 9:6, 7.

PROVERBS 8:23

The personification of wisdom found in the 8th chapter of Proverbs is not merely a device to explain the characteristics of an abstract quality. It also symbolically refers to Jehovah’s most important creation. Wisdom goes on to say: “Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth.

THE FIRSTBORN FROM THE DEAD... BUT LAZARUS WAS RESURRECTED AND A BOY WAS ALSO RESURRECTED.

Jesus Christ is shown to be “the firstborn of all creation” as well as “the firstborn from the dead”—not merely most distinguished in relation to those created or those resurrected but the first one actually created and the first RAISED FROM THE DEAD TO ENDLESS LIFE. (Col 1:15, 18; Re 1:5; 3:14)

Lazarus and the boy you mentioned died again.

COL 1:18

Jesus Christ is called “the firstborn from the dead.” (Col 1:18) He was the first ever to be resurrected to everlasting life. And his resurrection was “in the spirit,” to life in heaven. (1Pe 3:18) Moreover, he was raised to a higher form of life and a higher position than that which he had held in the heavens prior to coming to earth. He was granted immortality and incorruption, which no creature in the flesh can have, and was made “higher than the heavens,” second only to Jehovah God in the universe. (Heb 7:26; 1Ti 6:14-16; Php 2:9-11; Ac 2:34; 1Co 15:27) His resurrection was performed by Jehovah God himself.—Ac 3:15; 5:30; Ro 4:24; 10:9.

COL 1:16 ......ALL THINGS HAVE BEEN CREATED THROUGH HIM AND FOR HIM.

Jehovah used his only-begotten Son as the master worker in creating all other things, that is, all things besides Jesus himself. (Proverbs 8:27-30; John 1:3) Rightly, the Son derives pleasure from these works, and in this sense they are “for” him.

PROV 8:30

Jehovah’s firstborn Son was there beside his Father, actively working with him—the peerless Creator of the heavens and the earth. When Jehovah God created the first human, His Son was associated with him in the project as Master Worker.

If I have not explained something clearly, or you want to ask more questions, I am happy to help.

All the best
Brenda
