Answer
Hello Nataly.  Thank you for writing.

To answer your question....No, I am not a Jehovah's Witness.  Like I said in my profile, I was raised in the JW religion for 13 years, but I am now a born again Christian.  I still have some members of my family, who are Witnesses.  I was never baptized as a JW.  However, since I was brought up in this religion, I am very familiar with their beliefs.  Since I became a Christian, I have researched the Bible, and how it is at odds with JW doctrine.  I have discussed some of these doctrinal issues on my web page at www.jehovahswitnesses-thetruth.com.

I understand what you are saying about persecution.  Christians are persecuted for their beliefs and stand, as well.  I would like to say, though, that persecution is not merely having someone to disagree with your beliefs.  I disagree with JW beliefs, but I have never persecuted any JW, and do not wish to.  And yes, you are correct that being strong spiritually is a great help to endure persecution.  Needless to say, I experienced some of this from my JW family after I was saved.

I hope this has answered your question.  Feel free to contact me with any other questions you may have, and again, thank you for writing.

Expertise

I was raised in the religion known as Jehovah`s Witnesses for 13 years. Since becoming a born-again Christian, I have researched extensively this religion, especially their doctrines and their history. I can answer questions about their doctrines from the perspective of Biblical Christianity. To be clear: Jehovahs Witnesses is the religion of my upbringing, though I myself was never baptized into the religion, nor have I ever been considered as a Jehovahs Witness.

Experience

23 years of Biblical research into the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith, and how they differ from the teachings of the Watchtower.

Education/Credentials
High School, some college. Studies of God's Word, the Bible, and how it compares to JW theology. I have found my own personal study and experiences to be far more valuable than any formal education or training. The Bible message is clear...Salvation is ONLY through and by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and no religious organization has a thing to do with it. While attendance at a Bible-preaching, Bible-believing church is a must for spiritual growth and fellowship, no church can grant salvation to its members. Nor is joining a particular group a prerequisite for being saved.
