Question
Janko, your answer to an earlier post was:
"How stupid are you?If you knew who we were as God's people you also know that we are Jesus true disciples.Don't be so ignorant,do a little research before you make such stupid claims that we don't reconize who Jesus is and what he stands for in our lifes.Who do you think imitates him and his disciples in the first century as we do?You are a fool if you keep thinking the way you do."

My dear friend,I am a fool and I don't know everything about the Watchtower. That's why I am asking questions.
I have never been a Witness. I am trying to learn from you who claims to be an expert.

I really want to know how the average Witness relates to Jesus Christ.

The Organisation emphasises the use of God's Name.

I have 2 questions... you may call me a fool for asking, but please answer me this time.

1. What does it mean for you personally as a Witness to bow the knee to Jesus and acknowledge Him to be Lord?

2. What does it mean for you to say that the name of Jesus is above every name?

PLEASE DON"T PASTE A WHOLE CHAPTER OUT OF A WATCHTOWER PUBLICATION. YOUR OWN WORDS WILL BE QUITE ADEQUATE.

Answer
We do not bow to anyone.Jesus was alive in the flesh when that was said.He is in heaven now as King.We consider Jesus
as second to Jehovah in all things and as far as our organization goes,Jesus is the Head of our congregation and Jehovah is the Head of Jesus.Whats so hard about that to understand?Jesus name is above every name except his Fathers
and we obey Jesus every command, because God gave him all authority in heaven and on earth. When all is said and done when the last enemy is brought to nothing,it being death,he will hand the Kingdom back over to his Father as King of Eternity.Jehovah gives Jesus his orders and Jesus gives us our orders.
