Question Dear sir,
Why is it not O.K to have a blood transfusion
But it is O.K. to have a Kidney transplant?
And If your small daughter had an accident, and she needed a blood transfusion to survive, would you let the docter give her one?

Answer Dear Jeff:
To answer your question, you must consider that the kidney is a very important organ in the body and of course would need to be transplated if the old one was not functioning properly.
As for blood, it's a lubricant that can be regenerated in the body over a period of a number of hours, plus there are other non blood resources that can be used in an emergency.
AS for surgeries, there is the blood filtering system that transport blood from a patient while in surgery cleans it out and is put back in the system without even being put somewhere else.
