The devine name in Hebrew is represented in English by the four lettere YHWH. Hebrew did not have vowls in the written language and vowles sound were inserted into the word by the reader.
The NWt also used Hebrew translations of the Christian Greek Texts (NT) as a guide for inserting the devine name into the NT.
It is true that the translatoers have used the more common English form Jehovah instead of Yahweh because in English we also translate all other "J" names with a "J" in stead of "Y" For example all accept Jerimiah as the name of that prophpet anf the book in his name but his Hebrew eqivalent should look something like this yirmehyaw the same with the following names
Jerusalem - yerooshawlahim or yerooshawlahyim
Jehoiakim - yehhoyawkeem
Joseph - yowceph
Joshua - yehhoshooah
Get the idea. In English we accept the other Hebrew names in their English form so we use Jehovah.

Guess this fella never read the word Hallelujah which means "give Praise to Jehovah" false christians say it all the time and they don't believe in Jehovah and I guess he never heard the of the prophet in the Hebrew scriptures having the very name Elijah which means My God Jehovah. There's no letter "J" in the Hebrew Language either. But look at the English translations. What about Jacob? Who was the God of Jacob? Dude you really need a bible study. Ask a JW, they are free.

It is JWs that constantly tell people that they have to use the name
Jehovah to be saved and now you say to me , "Your sorry thinking on how,why and
where,etc.on God's personal name is used is not the big picture in your

everyday of our lives." Well Janko I totally agree and so do other Christians to
include Messianic Jews (which call themselves Christian by the way) and
Christian Israelites and that is what we have been saying all alone. So let us
all continue to keep the commandments of God the Father/Yahweh/Jehovah/LORD and
the faith of Jesus/Lord/Yashua. But do read all of Romans 11 which says that
natural Israel will be grafted back in just as the Gentiles/wild olive branches
have been. Yahweh still loves them and you and me too. No debates here. We agree

Hallelujah is pronounced HalleluYAH world wide in spite of the erroneous J.That should tell you something.It means praise Yahweh. EliYah means my El (God) is Yahweh, etc. If you think the English translators were so right you wouldn't have gone and made your own Bible translation. Now you want to talk about what "false religion" believes and what the English translators translated in what you call a corrupt Bible. You now want to use them to give credence to your argument when you think it suits you. You can't have it both ways. The name Jehovah is a 500 year Roman Catholic manmade hybrid name. The Jews don't use God's name but you use a false one. You need a Bible study from a Sacred Namer and a new Bible that restores "both" the names Yahweh and His son who came in His name- Yahshua - Salvation of Yahweh to Old and New Covenants and stop following a man made tradition of teaching a false name, "dude." And keep your free Bible Study. I know all about man made organizations claiming to be the one true religion and spokesman for Yahweh. Also taken a lesson in El and Yah theophory.
