Question Hello! I personall am not a Jehovah's Witness, however, i'm interested to know belief systems.
For one: Why are no festival or even celebrated other than Passover?
For two: What relationship does a Jehovah's Witness have with God, and Jesus?
I'm a Torah following Christian, meaning I take the whole bible into account, so don't worry about quoting verses, i'll know where to go! :) Thank you!
Answer Dear Tiki:
Sorry for the lateness of my response to your question.
Involving your first question, we do not celebrate Passover. What we do celebrate is the Lord's Evening Meal, which is on the biblical calendar date of Nisan 14. It is a special date, where Jesus, the day before being captured and sent to Pontious Pilate, instituted this meal to be celebrated by believers .
As for your second question, we believe that Jehovah GOd is the creator of all good things and that Jesus is his son. We do not believe in the Trinity doctrine.
If you have any more questions, please feel free to go to the Jehovah's Witnesses official website: www.watchtower.org. or go to the Kingdom hall nearest to where you live.
