Jewel writes poetry because when she was a young girl she didnīt have much to do in her home. So she used to entertain herself writing music and stuff.
Poetry talks to her soul and let the whole world know how she's feeling. And when writing about her life and her true feelings she starts to realize the solutions to her problems, and also writing makes her let all the stuff locked inside, out.
