I just bought an amethyst crystal.. How would I know if it's fake? Thanks..

Hello,

It looks like the inclusions in your picture look natural. Has someone
polished it or is it natural finish I can not tell from you picture.

Natural un-polished crystals have growth lines and facets that are very easy to detect. Internal flaws are also distinct.

Quartz can be ID by refractive index testing. A good gemologist could tell you for sure.
