Question my friend has a piece of jewelry that has the marking of 925 GM. What does that mean exactly, and how do I determine what kind of gems or minerals it possesses?
Answer Hi,
The 925 has something to do with the type of metal exactly what I am not sure. The gems or minerals I would have to see to give an opinion. Call around to some of your local jewelers. Some of them of GIA gemologists on board. They could look at it and give you a good idea what you have.
