Subject: Identifying maker of ring

Question
Hi! I am hoping you can help me figure out who the maker of my ring was. It is silver & the hallmark looks like a pretzel! It could also be a love knot or an oval with a V through it. Hard to describe but the pretzel is the best choice.
I hope you can help.
Thanks!

Answer
Greetings,
Its really hard to say, but that sounds like the mark for Dublin........however this should be accompanied by at least two other marks being the assay and the maker.

Otherwise its impossible to even guess who the maker may have been...there is no listing record of marks unless they are guild members, in which case as said there would be 3 or 4 marks.

Good Luck, P
