Why do some people associate spam with cannibalism?

it may have something to do with the fact that it is made with mammals that are forbidden.

or

The fact that spam is made of pig and some people say that pigs and humans are similiar, so if you are eating pig, then it is like eating a human being.

Other than that, i have no idea since i am not jewish.
