Question
Is the inventor of Tootsie Rolls Jewish?  His name is Leo Hirshfield.  But can you show me some documentation of this?

all i could find was this

All i can find is that he was from Austria, and named the candy after his daugher. I also checked out info on Austria, and as far as i can tell is that he isn't Jewish, which there wasn't a whole lot of info on him, like his religion.
