Question Hi there andy. I got a job at my local supermarket and then they payed me of because there shop didnt make enough money to keep everyone on. I now hear they are looking for people again and i would like to apply again because i loved working there. but how do i go about going this and what do i say to them? thanks
Answer Nicole,
As long as you were laid off because of "slow business" & not a performance issue on your part, I would advise you to contact your former supervisor & let them know you would love to become part of the team again. I would first give them a call & arrange a time when you could speak with them rather than just showing up in the store.
Best of luck to you & please let me know if I can further assist.
