Question QUESTION: I recently had a job with security at a nuclear power plant. I had the physical and was told from the PA that performed it that everything was fine only latter in the day to find out that I hadn't passed the physical. I believe that this was because I stated that I had multiple sclerosis. What I would like to know is how one might state the reason for leaving my last job.
ANSWER: Mike,
I'm not sure I understand the issue. Did you lose your job @ the nuclear plant because they found out you had MS? Please give me some more details so I can help. Thanks!

Andy

QUESTION: Andy
The first couple of days there we had the drug test and I passed this. Part of the questions were what type of drugs might you have in you system over the last month so I told them what I had and what these were for. About a week had passed since then when the PA asked what these drugs were for at the physical. It was written there and again I explained to her. I get flare-ups about every 3 years and had the last one in January. I have since been trying to get ahold of the doctor that I never saw there to ask just why I failed. I've never failed a physical in my life. I've called 3 times now. The first call I got a call back stating that the Doctor who was in Reno at the time would call me back on the following Friday. After that no calls were returned. I'm thinking they think I will go away. I don't think they know me very well. Anyway, thanks for the help!
Mike
Answer Mike,
WOW! I would continue calling & I would put your request in writing & send it certified mail so that you have a record the company received it. I would seek legal advice to see what your next step should be. Best of luck to you.
If you don't mind, let me know how everything turns out for you.

Andy
