Job Hunting Tips - my references

Expert: Andy - 4/16/2007

Question
Hi.  I've interviewed with a large company and they've asked for my references.  I am trying to put them together but I don't know what type of format to put them in.  In MS WORD, how should I layout the references?  Thanks.

Answer
Emad,

Make sure you warn your references that they may be contacted by the company that may employ you.

I would add a brief note to the MS Word document & format it as such...

Name of Reference
Job or Title they hold
Phone# & email address to reach them

I hope this info helps Emad & I wish you the best of luck.

Regards,
Andy
