Question
Hello John,
I want to run and get fit, but I also want to GAIN weight.  Will jogging make me LOSE weight?  Or will weight increase from more muscles (and I've heard it actually makes your bones thicker - that'd be cool).  I want to look like I weigh like 150 pounds, but actually be a lot heavier than this.  How do I do it?

Answer
Hi Marc
Run for good cardio health and all the benifits it gives you,to many to mention here.If you want to gain weight and stil stay lean, you should get on a good balanced weight program and a good diet and be consistent and have patience.Everybody's body adapts differently to stimulation of musculature and energy systems.I would seek out a professional trainer with experience in your area to set you up with a program and consult a sports nutritionist to taylor a good diet.Yes your bones will love the running..Also get your body fat taken with calipers only or the tank to start out with a base line.

The best to you Marc
