Hi Austin:  I just attended the Elton concert in Charlottesville, VA and while Elton was introducing the band he made a comment to Davey Johnstone about his band the Cheeseheads, he also made this comment at the 60TH Birthday concert in New York, which I also intended. I was wondering what Elton is referring to when he says this about Davey because  each time it just seems to crack both of them up!!  Please let the rest of us in on the joke.  Thanks

Hi Donna,

Elton likes to come up with fictitious band names for some of his band members.  Davey seems to be his favorite.  I've been to several shows where Elton has a different band for Davey each time.  Sometimes the band names are not so kid-friendly!  Once I was at a show and Elton introduced Davey as Graham Sponge!  I guess it's a way for Elton to keep the concerts fresh!
