Jokes & Comedians - Radio/TV skits

Expert: BIG DAVE - 5/11/2003

Question
I am seeking 15-20 great lines to put into a skit. I have a partner (Like Bob & Ray...if your remember them)and we will do a 15 minute skit at our community club house in the fall. I would like to mix it up with funny Commercials, Sport events, News of the Day, etc. I have looked at the jokes on the net, but everyone reads these and they are nothing new or funny anylonger.

Answer
Good luck to ya.

You're right. There is nothing new or funny anymore on the net. In fact I dont think there ever was anything funny on the internet. But since I get roughly 3000 chain letter jokes a week clogging up my e-mail, I stopped reading internet jokes. I cant hit the delete key fast enough. I 've probably got 14 centuries of bad luck stored up.

I dont write jokes. However I do attend many 12 step meetings in Los Angeles that are just chuck full of writers. However most of these writers havent worked in a long while. I'll ask some of them if they know any really funny topical humor as soon as their DT's stop.
