Question
i have a november 1964 look magazine.  it is the jfk memorial issue.  the magazine is in good shape.  could you tell me if is of value.

Answer
Hello:
Typically old issues of Life, Look, and Saturday Evening Post from the 1940s through 1960s sell for around $3-$5 at antique stores and flea markets.  Special issues commemorating celebrities, such as JFK or MLK Jr., sometimes go for $25 to $50.  I think this issue falls in that category and could be worth up to $50. The best way to find out for sure is to go to ebay.com and look up old magazines.  I think they are in the "antique memorabilia" category.  The general rule I've learned that there's a relationship between the original value of an item and its antique value.  Since these magazines only sold for ten cents originally, their antique re-sale value won't make you wealthy.  But they are worth something to collectors.
