Question
Is there any meaning to the symbol of a lion coming out of a ring of fire in Kabbalah/judaism

thanks

Answer
Hi Dan

Not that I am aware of. The lion is one of the four creatures depicted on the Divine throne. According to Kabbalah, the Divine fire that descended on to the altar in the Temple to consume the sacrifices was shaped like a crouching lion- perhaps that is the connection between fire and a lion.
