Question Will Larry Johnson impact on Preist Holmes this year as a fantasy football pick and is Holmes health of any concern?
Answer To answer your question I'll start by saying that Priest Holmes health is no more of a concern than for any other player. He is healthy now and any player can suffer an injury at any time. Larry Johnson will receive carries this season. Priest Holmes will still be the starter and should receive all, if not most, goalline carries. However, there has been talk of having both Priest and Larry in the backfield together at times and Larry will spell Priest at times in the game. If you are in a league that provides sufficient backup spots, I would advise drafting Larry Johnson if you also have Priest Holmes. How much Johnson will take away from Holmes numbers, I cannot predict. But I think Johnson himself will have 600-800 yards rushing and 5-10 TDs. Priest should top those rushing numbers as well as having better receiving numbers than Larry. Additionally, if Priest remains healthy he should lead all RBs in total TDs.
