Question what one position do the Chiefs need to seriously upgrade in the offseason, either through free agency or draft? I'm thinkin Defensive Tackle, then LB and WR next...?
Answer I think you're right on about defensive tackle. We need to get some guys who can stuff the run and get some pressure on the QB from the inside. I think we also need to focus on defensive end and get Jared Allen some help on the outside. I think we're ok at LB. Kendrell Bell may or may not be back, but I think Keyaron Fox could fill his role and play next to Kawika Mitchell and Derrick Johnson. I think we need an upgrade at safety. Greg Wesley has not played up to par and Jerome Woods is worse. We need a hard-hitting safety.
WR is always a need, but is more of a luxury want. I think special teams also needs some attention. If we can improve our depth at all positions than it will help improve our coverage and return units as those players come from our backups.
