Answer
Hi Lewis,
Now it depends with location you want to stay in and for how long. I wish I was in Nairobi because I would show you cheap areas. Okay let me know for how long you will be in Nairobi and on what kind of accommodation you need. The costs varies  depending if you know the city well. You can get good accommodation as low as $ 30 per single room - self contained. some of them are on the back street that you will need to have a local who knows the place well. There are other top lodges. The same applies to food, it depends with locations and if you know the area well. If you are just visiting the country I would recommend you visit the smaller towns or even the village where life is quite cheap.

Okay get back to me and will send you more information.

Thanks
Okeno.
