Question
I am doing a project for school and require information about the general weather, temperature, and precipitation of a typical savanna in Kenya. Thanks!

Answer
Hi Sarah,
I so hope it's not too late to help you out. This is the earliest I've been able to check my mail.
Okay, typical savanna in Kenya would be Eastern province and Northern province of Kenya. The climate is hot and dry. Very cold at night though. Kenya is mostly blessed as far as precipitation is concerned, so even the driest regions do get some precipitation. This year, Northern province flooded, yet the year before, around January, the area was declared a national emergency because of the drought that was there, and the people had absolutely no food. Mets around here say its the effects of global warming making the weather and clmate patterns so erratic.
I can't give you general precipitation levels right now, I'd have to look that up in one of our textbooks to confirm the figures. Is that fine? Or is the information thus far enough? Let me know please!
Have a fabulous day, and I hope your project goes extremely well.
