Question Hi Kagure,
I am a kenyan currently living in the UK and i am planning to hold a wedding in Nairobi. But i am not sure where to start as i think i may need a wedding planner being miles away from home. Would you know how much they cost and which wedding planning companies they have in nairobi? Also, i am looking for entertainment companies for the after party like DJ Pinye to carry the event out. Hiring cars for the occasion, flowers and most importantly nice reception grounds with abundant green grass! I know of Windsor Golf & Country Club but they do not allow you to use your own catering so you are restricted to their catering. I need you help! Can you also tell me how to get hold of Samantha's bridal magazine and the edition that she published in 2005? Thanks.
Answer Hi Lilian,
So sorry for the delay.
And Congratulations on the wedding!! Kiss FM did some huge wedding expo early this year that was very well done. Maybe you could get in touch with them via email (I think the website is www.kissfm.co.ke) and buy their DVD or at least get the contacts they used. They did it in conjunction with Samantha Bridal. And it was at the Marula Manor. A very lovely and green place in Karen. Check them out, if it does not pan out, let me know and I'll see if I can redirect you!
Hope it works out.
