Question Is it safe to volunteer and travel in Kenya?
Answer Hi Su,
It should be safe, depending on how you take care of yourself and the general precautions like not travelling alone, especially at night, dressing decently, not flashing expensive equipment, and so on.
Is there a specific place you're thinking of?
Several volunteers come and work from Kenya. There are some students I met some time ago who were volunteering here from Holland. They had a good time, but were very particular about what time they left for home and the means they used. I think that would work for you as well. If you have some specific concerns, let me know and I'll do mly best to help you!
